This will help you understand your strengths and gifts and make the most of them during your process of transformation. Along the 6 months, following your priorities, we will look together in all the areas of your life that affect your health and wellness:
We will understand how these aspects work together as a whole, and we will optimize them so you can make a habit out of experiencing high-level wellness. Once you had your 'aha' moment which gifts you clarity on the 'why', we will focus on what to do next and how to do it. We will not dwell on the 'why' as this is the field of psychotherapy and outside the HWC scope of practice.
Let's suppose you need to lose 30 pounds to lower your blood pressure and your glycemia. And once you attained the new healthier body weight down you want to maintain it at that level. This is your final goal that you will meet at the end of the program. You tried a few methods and each time, after you managed to shed 10 or 15 pounds, you gained them back plus a few extra. During the first three sessions, you realize that staying connected to the toxic branch of your family triggers your emotional eating and you set as an intermediary goal the creation of a healthy supportive relationships. Together, we make a plan that is specific to the intermediary and final goal. We descover methods of implementing it and ways to measure their efficacy. We make sure that the plan is realistic and also time sensitive. We stay focused on you attaining your goals and not on resolving your emotional past issues.
Keep in mind that I might need to get in touch with your health care providers. This way, I will have a broader perspective and understanding of your life setting and it will help me serve you at my best as your health and wellness coach.
We will meet on-line twice a month during our 50-minute sessions and we'll keep in touch via email for accountability and support.
Remember that you are accountable to yourself and not to me. I will simply guide you to attaining self-accountability which helps you maintain your positive transformation until it becomes permanent.
